Description
This Sancerre comes from plots situated at an altitude of 265m in the south of Sancerre in a place called “Clos du Roy”, named by the Duke of Sully for King Henry IV. The history of the Reverdy-Ducroux domaine dates back to the XVI century. Passed down through 14 generations from fathers to sons, in keeping with tradition, the domaine has been widely developed; today it has 50 plots spread across the best terroirs in the Sancerre region.
Tasting Notes :
The Clos du Roy Sancerre reveals an intense bouquet of citrus and yellow fruits. The attack on the palate is supple and generous, fruity and elegant. This is a Sancerre characterised by a delicate fruity aroma and exceptional finesse.
