El Regalo is one of “Viñedo Singular” planted in 1936, the year the Spanish Civil War started. Its name has a history: a dowry that ended up becoming El Regalo (the gift) of a husband to his future wife. Made with 100% Tempranillo from single vineyard located at Villabuena, aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels (Dargaud and Taransaud).
Tasting Notes :
Very complex nose with layers of ripe dark fruit, smoke and toasted oak. On the palate the wine is very elegant, with soft tannins and a silky texture, with aromas of ripe fruit, herbs and toasted oak, leading to a long and elegant finish.
