Description

Château La Fleur Pourret is produced by Domaines Manoncourt, who also own and run Château Figeac. Typically the cuvée consists of 54% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines that are on average around 40 years of age.. It is fermented in steel and concrete tanks and matured in 90% one-year-old barrels and 10% new wood.

Tasting Notes :
The Château La Fleur 2018 displays a lovely dark purple, almost black, colour. The nose evolves elegant notes of ripe fruit, including plum, black cherry and blackberry. On the palate, the vintage already has a very fine balance and great finesse, structured by elegant tannins. This vintage lingers long on the finish.
