Rich and complex, The Macallan Sherry Oak Collection is influenced by sherry seasoned European oak casks. Each single malt is characterised by natural mahogany hues and interlocking notes of succulent dried fruits and ginger, with a depth of flavour and wood spice that intensifies through the range.
Matured in predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks, this exceptional single malt whisky has distinct tasting notes of ginger, dried fruits and spice. On the nose, dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, with notes of ginger and nutmeg. On the palate, raisins and sultanas with ginger syrup giving way to sweet cinnamon spice and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long with oak and warming ginger.
