Description

Situated just 45 kilometers east of Melbourne’s CBD, the Yarra Valley is a large and diverse cool climate wine region. Its elevation spectacularly ranges from lows of 50m to heights of 1250m, thanks to the influence of the Great Dividing Range and a number of soil profiles. The premier cool climate region is also characterized by significant rainfall during Winter and Spring, as well as dry but cool Summers. The Yarrabank collection celebrates the craft, precision and elegance at the heart of modern Australian sparkling. Made in methode traditionelle with 56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay, this sparkling spent four years on lees with 3.9h/L dosage.

Tasting Notes :
A bright green gold. Richly fruited with aromas of poached apples, brioche, lemon confit and a little honey. Full flavoured on the palate with plenty of backbone and drive. It’s just about ready now, and my advice is to drink this over the next couple of years.
