Description

Founded in the early 1980s by Enzo Manicardi, the Manicardi winery is located in the hills of Castelvetro, in the province of Modena. The company is renowned for producing wines that reflect the traditions and characteristics of the Emilian territory, with particular attention to Lambrusco Grasparossa, one of the area’s most prized varieties. The Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro Amabile by Manicardi is a sweet sparkling wine made from the ripest grapes of the company’s hillside vineyards. With secondary fermentation in autoclave using the Charmat method, which gives the wine its characteristic natural effervescence, the retention of some of the original grape sugars helps to achieve the characteristic amabile (semi-sweet) taste.

Tasting Note :
In the glass reveals ruby red with violet reflections, follow by intense notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and blackberry, with floral nuances and a hint of sweet spices on the nose. The palate is slightly sweet, pleasantly fresh, smooth, and velvety, with a harmonious and persistent finish.
