Description

Ruinart is the oldest Champagne house and was founded by visionary Monk Dom Thierry, one of the first to recognise the importance of the Champagne business. The House of Ruinart was founded on September 1, 1729, by Nicolas Ruinart. For Champagne bottle storage, Ruinart acquired its ancient crayères underneath the city of Reims where today there are 8 kilometres of Ruinart cellars. Ruinart Brut is a harmonious champagne, produced from a blend of Pinot Noir (40–45%), Pinot Meunier (10–15%) and Chardonnay (40%). Created from 40–50 different crus from the terroirs of Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.

Tasting Notes :
Ruinart Brut’s radiance is crystalline with a shimmering yellow colour and golden hues cellared for 3 years. The nose is delicate and fruity displaying dominant aromas of fresh white pear and dry fruits such as hazelnuts and almonds, followed by white flower notes, Viennese pastry and buttered brioche. The palate reveals a dominant freshness, displaying both tactile roundness and enduring length.
