Description

This Sancerre comes from old vines situated at an altitude of 240m on a steep plot on a Chavignol hillside called “Montée de Bouffant”. The southern exposure brings a good grape concentration with great complexity. Made mainly from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety, it reveals a rich and complex aromatic palette characteristic of the limestone and clay-limestone soils of Sancerre, combined with a temperate continental climate, making it possible to obtain wines with excellent minerality and remarkable freshness.

Tasting Notes :
Light golden-yellow colour, the wine reveals fruity, exotic and floral bouquet, mixed with discreet empyreumatic notes (vanilla). Well-balanced and rich on the palate, due mainly to the grapes’ exposure to the sun with mineral finish, the perfect characteristic of Sancerre white wines.
