Description
The grapes used for the production of Lieu Dit Saint Jacques Riesling come from a vineyard located in Eguisheim, Alsace, in an area called ‘Lieu Dit Saint Jacques’. This area is characterised by clay and limestone soils with good sun exposure, which favours the ripening of the grapes. The grapes used for the production of Lieu Dit Saint Jacques Riesling are cultivated according to organic farming principles, without the use of pesticides or environmentally harmful chemicals.
Tasting Notes :
The nose presents notes of citrus fruits, such as lemon and grapefruit, accompanied by aromas of white flowers and minerals. In the mouth it is fresh, balanced and slightly creamy, with a good acidity that makes it very versatile with international dishes. The wine has an excellent capacity for ageing, allowing it to develop further aromas and complexity with the passage of time.
