Description

Located on the Mazon plateau, the cradle of Italy’s most renowned Pinot Noir crus, this Pinot Bianco vineyard is one of Alto Adige’s outstanding sites. Thin layers of glacial soil, barely a meter deep, cover the underlying bedrock. The soil is rich in biostimulant minerals derived from the sedimentary rocks of the Werfen formation, a geological rarity in Alto Adige’s viticulture. The rock beneath is compact and impenetrable, preventing the roots from growing deep. This challenging environment creates a kind of positive stress for the vine, resulting in a Pinot Bianco defined by marked minerality and elegant structure. Fermentation, aging and maturation are done in 500L Tonneau with batonnage for 15 months.

Tasting Note :
This wine has a straw yellow color. Its aroma is intense and varied to the nose offering hints that recall flowers and yellow pulp fruit, to which are added thin spicy veins. The taste in the mouth is wrapping and broad and full-bodied, this white wine of Trentino is very well balanced in crispness and clean in the finish.
