Description

This is by far the most important label produced in the cantina of Benito Ferrara, a family which for 4 generations has produced wine in the heart of Irpina. This exquisite white wine is made from the Greco grape variety, known for its aromatic and floral notes. The vines are carefully cultivated in the Vigna Cicogna vineyard, renowned for its volcanic soil and ideal climate conditions. Undoubtedly one of the best Greco di Tufo wines around on the market.

Tasting Notes :
The nose evokes notes of pear, gooseberry and, subsequently, kiwi, cedar, orange, apple, white melon and peach. An exuberant fruity mix sculpted by the minerality of flint, tuff and dry clay. On the palate it is energetic and vigorous, with important acidity and sapidity well integrated by the structure and remarkable softness. It goes well with well-structured fish dishes, such as rock grouper, or excellent with monkfish with porcini mushrooms.
