Description
This wine is dedicated to Bianca Schiavoni, wife of the noble Don Tommaso (who first planted Primitivo di Manduria in the region). Living in the more rural farm areas, away from courts and courtiers, it is said that the wine made her happier and helped her to moderate her solitude. Made with 85% Fiano and 15% Fiano Minutolo (an ancient vine of the vineyards of Apulia, which was often confused with Fiano from which research has differentiated), fermentation were performed in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes:
Bright straw yellow with lighter rims. In the nose intense aromas of citrus fruits, yellow prunes. Hints of salty Mediterranean notes. The palate is rich and fruity with a crisp salinity which moderates the aromaticity of the variety. Juicy and refreshing with a persistent and delicate aftertaste.
