Description
El Regalo is one of “Viñedo Singular” planted in 1936, the year the Spanish Civil War started. Its name has a history: a dowry that ended up becoming El Regalo (the gift) of a husband to his future wife. Consist of Viura and Malvasia from single vineyard El Regalo, aged for 8 months on fine lees in foudre and concrete.
Tasting notes:
Great aromatic complexity with notes of manzanilla, ripe pineapple, white truffle, almonds and white pepper. On the palate the wine is unctuous and very aromatic, with notes of spice, toasted almond and ripe white fruit; its lively acidity provides balance and a timeless finish. Excellent to enjoy now and with great cellaring potential, as it will reach a brilliant maturity in the next 10-15 years.
