Description
The wines of the Susana Balbo Signature line are the maximum expression of Susana’s essence. Elegant, complex and disruptive, they account for the unparalleled creative audacity of the first woman winemaker in Argentina. This Chardonnay is made in very small quantities. Coming from Gualtallary, Uco Valley in Mendoza, at 1,350m elevation, it was fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Tasting Notes :
Extraordinary full-bodied white wine fermented in barrels, made from grapes from Gualtallary, the wine express aromas of ripe white fruits nuanced such as pear and white peach, subtle tropical fruit tone with slight saline touches that are typical of the area and buttery background. One the palate, the wine has some creamy textures and crisp acidity coupled with a great fruit concentration and medium-long finish.
