Description
The bottle’s design is inspired by the original Domaine Amiot label designed in 1920 in the Art Nouveau style of the Belle Époque period. Bottling at the estate was a rare practice as winemakers sold new wine in bulk to négociants but Flavie Amiot and her husband, Arsène, pioneered bottling thanks to their Parisian clientele. This wine takes its name from Fabrice Amiot’s Great Grandmother. It is a blend of 3 plots and vinified 70% in tank and 30% in barrels. A wine full of tension, impressive power and subtlety. This is a baby Chassagne Montrachet!
Tasting Notes :
Composed bouquet with hints of yellow flower complementing the green apple aromas. Reveals subtle brioche and walnut scents with time, gaining complexity. The palate is very well balanced with a fine line of acidity, with the oak, nicely integrated and lending an appealing creamy texture toward the finish.
