Description

Guillaume Gonet purchased their own plots of Chateauneuf du Pape in 2015. He continues to produce wine that reflects his philosophy for winemaking – minimal interference with the “terroir effect” by following biodynamic agricultural principals. The wines display typicity of the characteristics and qualities of wines produced from these exceptional regions, hand picked 50 to 90 year old vines with 50% Clairette and 50% Roussane grown in the Cru du Bois. Vinification in stainless steel tanks with no malolactic fermentation. Aging is done without oak in stainless steel.

Tasting Notes:
Belle Amie offers up aromas of lychee, peach, citrus, fresh thyme, spices and spring blossoms. Moderately weighted and well-balanced, it’s tense and fresh with a pure, seamless mid-palate that segues into an ethereal, delicate finish. With age, the wine develops honey, nutty aromas.
