Bodegas Vetus is an important part of the Anton family’s mission to create classic wines from indigenous varieties in Spain’s most prestigious regions. The family’s company Grupo Artevino produces beautiful terroir-driven wines in Rioja (Bodegas Izadi and Bodegas Orben), Ribera del Duero (Finca Villacreces) and Toro (Bodegas Vetus). Albe de Vetus is made from the Rias Baixas region, on the southern coast of Galicia, Spain of the Albariño grape.
Tasting Notes :
Alba de Vetus is a dry white that boasts classic lines and styling. Complex bright lemon and honeysuckle, with a little peach on the nose, is reflected on the concentrated, textured palate. The wine has a roundness and intensity which fills the mouth. The only thing to drink during an endless summer.
