Description
A wine that makes you talk (Pro-fasio). An ambitious and contemporary high-end Valpolicella Superiore produced by Massimago, a Venetian winery founded in 1883 by the Cracco family and led since 2003 by Camilla Rossi Chauvenet. The company is located in Mezzane, in the province of Verona. The wine consists of 65% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella grapes harvested by hand into trays and dried for 1 month in their Fruttaio (drying barn). It ages for 5 months in steel, 12 months in barrique and 12 months in bottle.
Tasting Notes :
The wine is deep ruby red in color. The nose offers intense sensations with notes of strawberry, cherry and berries and balsamic and spicy hints. On the palate it reveals an excellent balance between fruit and flavor for a juicy and truly pleasant sip. Excellent in combination with stewed meat and spicy and oriental dishes.
