Description
Domaine des Tourelles Syrah du Liban is made 100% of Syrah grapes. The vineyards from which this Syrah is sourced are are between 20-25 yeard old and high in the Lebanese mountains of Western Bekaa (1,050m above sea level), ensuring fragrant aromatic fruit. Grapes are hand harvested and traditional vinification in concrete vats takes place, after 10 days fermentation the wine is blended and then aged for 24 months in all new American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes :
This wine reveals nice definition of perfume with bold, sweet black cherry and blackberry fruit. There’s nice dense fruit here but also a savoury spiciness with some subtle meat and earth undertones. Finishes fleshy and delicious.
