Description
A limited release Syrah, produced only in exceptional vintages. The grapes for this cuvée were harvested from 40 year old vines. The Syrah grapes were de-stemmed and macerated in tank. Ageing takes place predominantly in stainless steel with a fifth aged in oak. This is a vegan/vegetarian wine.
Tasting Note :
In appearance, it is a medium ruby with youthful purple highlights. The nose shows a slight restraint but has an interesting complexity of the variety with dense black fruit, chocolate, licorice, and fresh black pepper. On the palate, it has a particularly juicy sensation with silky tannins and juicy acidity that gives the fruit a vibrant rhythm.
