Description

Palliser Estate is one of the region’s leading producers. At a time when mainly sheep grazed, this domain was one of the first to plant grapevines. Palliser now owns about 72 hectares, spread over seven vineyards. The winery is located on the Martinborough Terrace, which is considered one of the most beautiful terroirs in Martinborough. The Palliser Estate Sauvignon Blanc is a complex and refined wine. To preserve as much pure fruit expression as possible, the wine ferments and ages in steel tanks. The wine does stay on lees for six months, for some extra structure and complexity. This makes it not only delicious to drink, but also very suitable for at the table.

Tasting Notes :
The wine has stylish and sophisticated aromatics, showing freshly cut grass, honeydew melon, passionfruit, gunflint, white peach and blossom. On the palate, it is dry, textured and intensely focused. Effortlessly pure, perfectly balanced and pleasingly fresh, crisp and elegant.
