The Recioto has always represented the tradition and identity of the Valpolicella people. It stands out among sweet wines due to its softness, followed by a balsamic touch that widens and refreshes the mouth, then rebalances the palate with the tannins given by aging in wood. It is a perfect pairing with ‘dry sweet’ desserts, such as Sbrisolona (crumble cake) or chocolate. For a bold combination, know that it also pairs very well with cured meats and cheeses, as tradition dictates.

The Recioto della Valpolicella from Ettore’s Vineyards is deep and intense, rich in many elegant and persuasive nuances, the nose is abundant and broad: fruity notes of macerated strawberry and cherry, ripe plum. The inevitable spices are those of clove and vanilla! On the palate, it reveals powerful flavors and soft, velvety, with a well-integrated, refined noble tannin. Good persistence.
