Description
The best Spanish wine in history for great value, according to Robert Parker, comes from the Villacreces estate, located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, with poor soils and contrasts, bathed by the Duero River. Made mainly with Tempranillo and touches of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged for 12 months in 100% fine-grained French oak barrels. As a novelty, it is presented in a special case of exclusive design and an invitation to visit the winery.
Tasting Notes :
Intense aroma with complex notes, reminiscent of roasted cocoa and coffee caramel. Balsamic notes against a background of red fruit (cherries and blueberries) with an elegant minerality. In the mouth it is fleshy, with excellent structure. A full-bodied wine with good volume on the palate, with perfectly integrated ripe tannins and a great amount of fruit and maturity. Excellent and complex persistence on the finish, marked by notes of dark chocolate and hints of black liquorice. A wine with amusing mouthfeel that invites you to drink.
