Description
The Falerno del Massico Doc Campantuono is like two-faced Janus, like two fraternal twins: Aglianico and Piedirosso. It is said to boast the oldest regulations in the world; Antonio’s is a pure Primitivo and comes to life from historic and ancient vineyards. 40% of the wine is aged in barrique for 15 months.
Tasting Notes :
Hints of honey, chamomile, thyme, tea and wild fennel invade and inebriate the nose. Black and spicy notes: incense, cigar and cocoa evoke the dark and deep tones of the color. It is a pleasure that calls for retasting. In every sip there is consistency, length and flavor. Persuasive tannins, good acidity. It has the forge to compete with time. The finish is tenacious.
