Description
Finca Villacreces Nebro is an exceptional wine that captures the essence of Ribera del Duero, one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions. This single-vineyard wine is crafted from hand-selected Tempranillo grapes grown on the estate’s 64-hectare vineyard in a small almost centenary plot, of old grapevines and low yields. A limited-edition wine which is only produced in vintages of extraordinary quality. The Tempranillo is aged in new French oak barrels for 16 months, adding complexity and a subtle touch of smoky vanilla.
Tasting Notes :
Glass-coating opaque purple with a flamboyant bouquet of mocha, coffee, spice box, floral note, and wild blackberry. On the palate, the wine is packed with layer upon layer of spicy black fruits, superb length, and well concealed tannins. It has a soft toasted aftertaste.
