Description

The Marquis des Beys Red is a premium wine made with 50% Syrah and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Western Bekaa region of Lebanon. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 1,050 m above sea level and the vines are 20 to 25 years old. It is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with a blend of new, first-use, and second-use barrels. This aging process helps to enhance the wine’s complexity and flavor, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy rich, full-bodied wines. The Marquis des Beys Red can be cellared for 5 to 8 years or even more, which allows it to develop further complexity and depth.

Tasting Notes :
On the nose, the Marquis des Beys Red offers aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and cassis, with a hint of vanilla and spice from the oak aging. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. The combination of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine a bold and complex flavor profile, with notes of dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy undertones.
