Description
Finca Villacreces is located in the area of Quintanilla Onésimo (Valladolid) on the grounds of an old abbey and within the strip of land known as the “golden mile” of the Ribera del Duero for hosting exceptional vineyards (the vineyards of Finca Villacreces border those of Vega Sicilia). Finca Villacreces is the result of the conjunction of the different plots of the estate; a heterogeneity that translates into grapes blend of 86% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Merlot. It has an aging of 15 months in French oak barrels from the most recognized cooperages.
Tasting Notes :
This wine is black-purple in color with an expressive bouquet of espresso, toasted bread, and wild blueberry. The palate is full-bodied, with layers of juicy black fruit, smoky wood, and nutmeg, structured with fine-grained tannins and juicy freshness. Ideal to accompany a grilled or peppered entrecôte, game dishes, and cured cheeses.
