Description
Domaine de Baronarques Limoux Red 2020 is a sophisticated blend from the historic Languedoc estate owned by the Rothschild family. This vintage expresses the unique terroir of Limoux with elegance, depth, and refined structure, offering a modern take on a classic French red blend. The blend consist of 45% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc, 15% Syrah, 7% Malbec and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, maturing for 12 month in 1/3 new French oak barrels.
Tasting Note :
The wine is deeply coloured with a purple hue. The nose displays attractive aromas of blackberry, bigarreau cherry, liquorice, violet and spice. From a full and generous attack, the very forward fruit combines perfectly with mature, silky-smooth tannins, revealing good structure and very fine balance. A fresh and mineral finish on dark chocolate and cocoa flavours rounds off this highly elegant wine.
