Description
Founded in 1661, Rauzan-Segla quickly gained a fine reputation both domestically and internationally. This was confirmed by its Second Growth status in the 1855 classification. Top fashion house Chanel purchased the estate in 1994, maintaining the same attention to detail in both wine and perfume production. They spare no expense in producing the finest wine imaginable. The blend of 2015 vintage is 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak, 65% new for 18 month.

crushed red and black currants, black raspberries and menthol notes with touches of cigar box, lavender, violets, smoked meats, black truffles and chargrill. Medium to full-bodied with a firm frame of very finely grained.
