Description
This fantastic property is among the best of the Bordeaux Supérieur winemakers, producing firm, rich wine from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Known for its quality and consistency, it is a great value find from Bordeaux demonstrating the classic style. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on gravel soils. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately transported to the winery. They are sorted and delicately pressed. Afterwards, fermentation takes place in kindling at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes :
The first nose presents nuances of blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry. In addition to the fruity notes of the bouquet, there are notes of barrel ageing as well as even fruitier and balsamic nuances. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully silky and fleshy. On the finish, this red wine inspires with its beautiful length.
