Description
The Domaine de Lauzade, located in the Côtes-de-Provence, is a protected place dotted with water sources as indicated by its emblem: a fountain dating from the eighteenth century, still in operation today. The 45-hectare vineyard produces wines made from 100% of the property’s vines on a sunny and early terroir, bordered by the Massif des Maures. The Château Lauzade Rouge is made with combination of 70% Syrah and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon which provide a perfect balance for this bold yet elegant red wine. Fermentation happens in stainless steel tank with further aging in stainless steel tank before bottling.
Tasting Notes :
The wine reveals dark ruby color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and complex, offering deep aromas of black fruit and roasting, enhanced by subtle notes of eucalyptus. Its velvety tannins make it voluptuous. The aromas of garrigue and menthol linger deliciously into the palate with long finish.
