Description
This high-value, non-barrel-aged red wine comes from the Chevillard family in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. The red wine Château Janoy-Bellevue Rouge 2020 is a dry wine made from 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc grapes. Harvesting is done only when the berries reach the optimal level of ripeness, and at the winery, the fruits are lightly pressed and then fermented in steel tanks, having strict temperature control.
Tasting Notes :
On the nose, Château Janoy-Bellevue displays aromas of ripe red cherries, plums, and blackberries, with delicate notes of herbs and a touch of vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied, offering flavors of red fruit, soft tannins, and a pleasant acidity. The wine finishes smooth and lingering, with a subtle hint of oak that adds complexity without overpowering the fruit character. This wine pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, grilled vegetables, or light pasta dishes. Its soft tannins and fruit-forward profile also make it easy to enjoy on its own.
