Description

Château Bellevue Figeac is a vineyard belonging to the Coninck family since 1861. Located on the edge of Pomerol, it covers 5 hectares. The vines, on average 40 years old, flourish on a soil made up of ancient sands. The work in the vineyard is carried out using sustainable pest management. The harvest is done manually and the sorting is done on the vine and in the cellars. The wine is a blend of Merlot (85%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled vats, then the wines are aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 100% new.

Tasting Notes :
This wine has a beautiful deep ruby red color. The bouquet opens with aromas of currants, blackcurrants and blackberries, flattered by light notes of vanilla. The palate is well balanced, supple. The tannins are ripe and silky.
