Description

Domaine Hamelin is located in Lignorelles on the edge of the Chablis wine region. The first vines were planted in 1840. Thierry and his son, Charles, run the domaine today and perpetuate the Chablis winemaking tradition. They work 36.70 hectares of vines with the help of a team of 10 people. Domaine Hamelin does not only make wines under the “Chablis” appellation, the House’s Pinot Noir also deserves to be known.

Tasting Notes :
Bright and limpid cherry red color. The aromas reveals dominant fruitiness (blackcurrant, cherry), black berries with a small spicy note, then evolving towards cooked prune, peppery notes, and animal, underbrush, moss and mushroom notes. Supple and round on the palate with melted tannins. A beautiful length with a lot of finesse.
