Description
Marengo’s Barbera d’Alba Vigna Pugnane is a more refined version of traditional and popular Piedmont wine. It comes from a prestigious company cru in the Langhe area, which historically produces grapes of particular elegance and aromatic richness. It is a Barbera of great expressive harmony, which thanks to a refinement in wood, tames the youthful impetuosity of the grape.
Tasting Notes :
At sight it has an intense ruby red color; floral notes intertwine with fruity hints, creating a pleasant aromatic bouquet. The sip is enveloping and has a drop in the mouth, with good structure and good acidity. Excellent fruity persistence. Ideal paired with pasta with meat sauce and salami.
