The name coming from the previous owner Gepin who had parcels in the Ronchi and Cottà Geographic mantions. These Barbera grapes coming from the oldest vineyards, to give the Barbera d’Alba Superiore intense complexity and decisive longevity.
Tasting Notes :
Gepin is characterized by a garnet red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of berries, enriched with pleasant notes of wood. On the palate it is round and pleasantly soft, with a rich structure and ripe tannins. Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
