Description
After an uncompromising selection of the grapes, which come exclusively from the very best vineyards, they are carefully laid out on straw mats and air-dried for approx. 100 days. The grapes lose 35-40% of their original weight, which results in a natural concentration of the ingredients. A power wine!
Tasting Notes :
Very dense, dark ruby red, almost black. Intense, varied aromas unfold in the bouquet, which is reminiscent of fully ripe fruits, cherries, plums, dried flowers, dried fruits, and the most delicate spices, light tobacco, and violets. The juicy tannins leave an impression of warmth, power, and elegance on the palate. The sensory impression is convincing with a multi-layered, extremely finesse-rich aroma, which leads the palate straight away with a lot of melting and complexity and ends in an extended finale full of power and elegance.
