The Quinta de la Rosa Lote Nº 601 Ruby Reserve Port is unusual, being made from A graded grapes, making it more concentrated and complex than many other fortified wines in this category. Traditional port varieties, mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz, are aged for an average of 3 years before being blended.
Tasting Notes :
Young and vibrant with aromas of red cherries and blackberries with a surprising body and long finish, this is a lighter style that works perfectly as an aperitif or in cocktails. Like all La Rosa Ports, it is not too sweet.
