Description
Henners Rosé is produced solely from grapes grown on Henner’s outstanding estate in Herstmonceux, East Sussex. The unique combination of warm well drained sandstone soils, a southerly aspect slope coupled with low altitude create perhaps the finest vineyard microclimate in the country. Henners Rosé NV is made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, using the saignée method to draw colour from the grapes at the pressing stage. A minimum of 24 month ageing on the lees brings a delicate creaminess to the wine and create a deliberately vibrant and fresh sparkling Rosé. Dosage of 6.5g/l.
Tasting Notes :
This sparkling rosé delivers classic English red berry fruit flavours including raspberries, redcurrants and rhubarb. The finish is brisk and zingy with a lingering mandarin zest and a seaside salinity.
