Description
The Moscato grapes come from ‘Sorì’ vineyards in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio (Alba). In the Piedmontese dialect, the term ‘Sorì’ means ‘sunny’, an ideal place to grow vines. These vineyards are on impervious and steep terrain, with a marked southern exposure, where the grapes are only hand-picked with very low production. The result is a sweet and aromatic wine of full-bodied structure and great satisfaction.
Tasting Notes :
The Moscato d’Asti by Albino Rocca presents itself with a light straw yellow color. On the nose, the bouquet is a true triumph of aromas: notes of peach, apricot, and orange blossoms blend with hints of sage and mint, creating an intensely pleasant olfactory experience. The palate is immediately enveloped by the natural sweetness of the moscato, balanced by a refreshing acidity and fine, persistent bubbles.
