Description

Kalamata olives are a variety of black olive from Greece. They are characteristically fleshy and tasty, and are highly prized for their organoleptic characteristics.

Kalios makes its olives in the traditional way, marinating them in water, vinegar and salt for weeks, giving them a very pleasant and characteristic aroma and flavour. There is a subtle exchange between the olive oil and the olive: the olive oil brings the fragrance to the olive, and conversely, the olive brings to the olive oil a more pronounced taste, close to the black fruitiness.
