One of the most popular Spanish Cheeses, Manchego hails from the La Mancha region of Spain. It is labeled with both the D.O. and the PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin). Made with 100% sheep’s milk it is recognizable for its herringbone rind pattern and vastly changing flavors throughout it’s aging process. The 12 month Campomancha’s Manchego is delectably crumbly in texture with a butterscotch color and a lingering sweet taste. In the tradition of all Manchego cheeses, Campomancha’s Manchego cheese is rubbed with oil to give it that smooth texture and distinct taste.
