A Welsh couple fell in love with Anglesey, so much so that they decided to produce an outstanding seasalt there, where the sea is the purest in the U.K.. Halen Môn salt gets its name from “Ynys Môn” the Welsh name for Anglesey. This seasalt’s astounding pureness is much sought after by many an acclaimed chef. Indeed, this small family-owned business which employs only 12 people now exports to 22 countries worldwide and even Barack Obama, the former U.S. President, says it’s his favourite salt!
Its notes of iodine are renowned the world over. Its fine and crunchy flakes dissolve deliciously in all your dishes providing the most superb salty seasoning.
