Description
Izadi means nature and is located deep in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, at the foot of the Cantabria Mountain Range, in the municipality of Villabuena, one of the most privileged areas of the D.O. Rioja Alavesa. They have 187 ha of old vines facing southwards, with exceptional soil and a privileged microclimate. This is a limited edition 100% Garnacha rosé made from selection of low-yield vineyards of garnacha vines (30 has.) which grow at high altitude, planted around 1960.
Tasting Note :
Izadi’s Larrosa is a pale, fresh Rioja rosé made from Garnacha, showing bright red berry and citrus character with a crisp, dry finish. It’s an easy-drinking style meant for early enjoyment rather than aging, well suited to warm-weather sipping. Light-bodied and refreshing, it works well as an aperitif or with lighter Mediterranean fare.
