Description
Anselmi’s revolutionary parting from DOC law enables this wine to break barriers in style and quality. The wine takes its name from the volcanic hill, on the top of which the Capitel Foscarino vineyard is located. An icon of wine, this blend of Chardonnay, Incrocio Manzoni and Goldtraminer showcases the beauty of this slice of the Veneto. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and aged on lees for 6 month before bottling.
Tasting Notes :
An intense nose with spice notes, almost aniseed-like aromas of white fruit and stone fruit accompanied by a dense, mineral underpinning. Full-bodied, round and intense, with a hint of phenolic firmness driving the rich, ripe fruit through the long finish. A delicious white wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for a few years or even longer
