Description
AKA is named for the vermillion colour of official stamps used throughout Asia from antiquity. AKA Sake is bright on the surface yet deep, brewed as a yamahai for complexity, with subtle fruit and dairy aromas and a refreshing acidity underpinned by savoury umami. AKA Red is a junmai ginjo sake, made from yamada nishiki rice, the highest quality rice in Japan, polished to 55%.
This sake is perfect with grilled or roasted meats in sauce accompanied by roasted mushrooms and root vegetables or aged cheeses.
