The Swiss Water Process is a chemical-free method for decaffeinating coffee. It works by first soaking green coffee beans in hot, pure water to extract both caffeine and flavor compounds. Then, this “Green Coffee Extract” (GCE) is passed through a carbon filter specifically designed to trap caffeine molecules while allowing the flavour compounds to remain. The SS Fine Cup is made with coffee beans from various estate in Brazil characterized by tasting profile of chocolate, roasted nuts and toffee with smooth and round body.
