Description
A West Indies Rum Distillery rum distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2019. Plantation was launched in 2003 by the Pierre Ferrand cognac house, which was founded in 1989. The house sources its casks from various distilleries and brokers but also owns the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados (WIRD) and has shares in National Rums of Jamaica, meaning it has exclusive access to Long Pond and Clarendon rums and plays a dual role as both a bottler and producer.
Tasting Notes:
This rum presents a nose dominated by honey and vanilla aromas, followed by fruity and woody notes. On the palate, it offers mild flavors with hints of honey and vanilla, accompanied by a subtle peppery kick. Its natural sweetness and fruity undertones offer an inviting drinking experience.
