Description
Colli Fiorentini is a little cooler than Classico Chianti, and here the wine is really showing the potential for perfume. This is a brazen Sangiovese from Colli Fiorentini DOCG. There’s a little Colorino in there too, if you’re interested. 30% has been barrel aged, the rest in stainless steel for freshness.
Tasting Notes :
The wine offers bouquet of red fruits and dry plums and is perfectly balanced with hints of undergrowth. On the palate, the well-integrated tannins offer a soft texture with persistent aromas of cherries and berries, and a touch of spiciness comes to complete the delicate complexity of the wine.
