Description
Aglianico is without a shadow of a doubt the red grape variety from Campania par excellence: the Benito Ferrara farm, strongly linked to the territory, is a master in declining this grape in several versions, among which Irpinia DOC stands out. Vigna Quattro Confini is a young, fine and balanced Aglianico produced in Montemiletto and aged for 1 year in 70% French oak and 30% steel before bottling.
Tasting Notes :
The aromas express the full character of the Aglianico grape. Notes of ripe cherries, plums and wild strawberries are surrounded by delicate nuances of cedarwood, herbs and a hint of chocolate, creating a unique bouquet. On the palate there is a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity and tannins. The taste remains in the mouth for a long time and captivates with its intensity and finesse. Every sip tells of the sun and the land of Irpinia and releases a feeling of pure joy of life.
